Turkish police arrested the author of the attack of the New Year’s Eve against “Reina” nightclub in Istanbul, which recorder 39 deaths. According to the “Anadolu Agency”, the suspect is named Abdulgadir Masharipov and is an Uzbek.
The “Dogan” news agency writes that, within the Islamic State he was known by the code name of Abu Mohammed Khorassani. By that name he was already identified by the security services and the Turkish anti-terror police. He is 34 years old and would be part of a ISIS cell in Asia.
The man was found with his 4 year old son and three other people (all arrested) in an apartment in the Esenyurt district in a major police operation, according to “TRT” channel, in what happened to be a joint operation between police and secret services.
“Dogan” published a photo of the suspect, with bleeding face and wearing a T-shirt, while he is blocked by a policeman at the neck.
