Duterte: Corrupt politicians? I’ll throw them down from helicopters

The president of the Philippines Duterte said he wants to throw the corrupts down from helicopters, what he admitted he already has done in the past when he was mayor.

The tough and uncompromising policy of the President of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte does not stop. He climbed the headlines for the war that is waging against drug dealers and drug users in the country.

But now the Philippine president has launched a new crusade, this time against corruption. And in a speech on Tuesday he made clear that even in this case, will be adopted an iron fist.

”If you are corrupt I will come to search you with a helicopter and then I will throw you down while we are traveling to Manila ”, and continuing Duterte added to reinforce his thoughts and not let the doubt that it could be simply a joke: ”I’ve done that in the past, why should not I do it again?”

The head of state then stated that drug trafficking and corruption are the main enemies against which he wants to channel all his forces and against which wants to lead a battle with no holds barred.

The methods, however, are not leaving indifferent the international community and the associations of human rights that have expressed embarrass by the measures of the ”war against crime” that has already claimed more than 6 thousand dead.
