A man was arrested early today 25th January for allegedly trying to rape an indigenous Garo woman at her residence in Dewan Bari area of Dhaka (close the International Airport).
The accused is Shafiullah, 32, a resident of the same area, entered the victim’s room and attempted to sexually assault her around 9:00pm yesterday 24th January. The accused fled the scene when the 23-year-old Garo woman screamed for help so loudly that was no more safe for him to complete the rape.
Later, she filed the case with the police station in this connection around 1:00am. The horrible monster was arrested within hours.
