The Islamic Executive Council forbids the faithful to pray for the victims of the massacres: “The infidels cannot be addressed to the Friday prayers. Do not pray for the kafir”. No mercy even if the kafir are the victims of brutal attacks in Brussels.
The Islamic leaders of Belgium have warned the NO to all Muslims. So last Friday 25/3, three days after the barbarian massacre of Brussels, in mosques the faithful have not prayed for the innocent souls that the jihadists have sent to the Creator.
By words the Muslims are against religious fanaticism, terrorism and against radicalism. But the facts show total apathy. As told by “Avvenire”, last Friday, the Brussels Islamic Executive Council refused to allow the imams “a joint prayer for the victims of the massacre” since the Muslim prayers can be directed only to Muslims. “The kafir – they explained – cannot be addressed to the Friday prayers.” Rejected as well the minute of silence to be kept in memory of the victims of the massacres.
The episode, however, is not isolated. Skipped as well the idea of reading, during the celebration of National Day against terrorism, a joint statement in all mosques of the country. Not only. It was also rejected the proposal to make the Imams recite the Surah Al Fatiha for those who lost their lives in the attacks. Muslims of Belgium don’t seem to be touched by the recent acts of terrorism.
