Migrants ravage ferry. Thefts and harassments to passengers

An “army” of about sixty migrants have devastated the cabins and rooms of the vessel which they got on. A real hell for the passengers of the ferry, under siege all night and harassed by the furious migrants.

The assault of the ferry

That’s what has happened on the “Tirrenia” ferry that goes from Cagliari to Naples and departed yesterday afternoon. The migrants boarded holding the “Deportation decree” paper of the immigration authority inviting them to leave Sardinia. Once on board they destroyed everything that came to hand. Halls and cabins put to fire and sword, harassed the passengers.

The berths were stormed by the migrants who tried to break into the rooms. Some of the berths were left open, so the migrants, after stealing everything there was to steal inside, devastated them. A real barbarian horde of destruction and horror.

The police check

Maritime police waited for the ferry at Naples and took steps to investigate whatever reported by the crew of the ship. The captain of the ferry had alerted the police reporting harassing behavior by some sixty migrants (so-called “refugees”) on board and the theft of a mobile phone denounced by one of the passengers.

At the conclusion of the investigation, police have been able to verify that of the 60 migrants boarded, 32 immigrants are “regular”, while 29 were addressed of a deportation decree by which it is ordered to leave the Italian territory within 7 days (thus for serious reasons).

“Expelled” only in words

Migrants with the expulsion order were not accompanied by the police, because according to the Italian law the immigration authority can issue only expulsion papers involving “self-deportation” of the illegal migrants on a voluntary basis. The migrants themselves, and not the state, must provide about their own repatriation. Obviously no one finally leaves the country.
