The “giant” is the new executioner of ISIS

Mohammed Reza Haque is one of the new ISIS emerging figures. Arrested by British police in 2011, he had been released for lack of evidence.

Mohammed Reza Haque, 36, is one of the new ISIS emerging figures and is considered the successor of Mohammed Emwazi, aka “Jihadi John,” the 27-year-old executioner eliminated on November 12 of last year near the Islamic city of Raqqa, the capital of the Caliphate.

For years he was the bodyguard the radical Islamic hate-preacher Anjem Choudary, the 49-year-old pakistani lawyer, who was recently arrested for violation of British laws on counterterrorism and sentenced to five years and six months for having shamelessly supported the Caliphate recruiting jihadists below the nose of all. Mohammed Reza Haque appeared in a new video, issued by the media branch of the Islamic state, while behead a hostage with a hunting knife. Known amongst the extremists as “the giant”, Haque was known to MI5 since 2010.

He was one of the main figures of the radical network surrounding Anjem Choudary, for years considered only as a “folkloristic” group, and the terroristic organization “al-Muhajiroun” (with all its evolutions such as Islam4UK and Need4Khilafah).

Seen in dozens of events in the UK supporting the ISIS, inciting hatred against the West, had been arrested in 2011 by British police but released by the “Belmarsh Magistrates’ Court” for lack of evidence. Mohammed Reza Haque, despite being monitored as extremist, manages to leave Britain on January 13, 2014 reaching with two flights first Cyprus and then Istanbul.

He would eventually traveled easily to Syria by car.

In the last execution spread in a video by Amaq, Haque is second from right. In the judgment in Arabic read by an unidentified jihadist, the five men dressed in orange overalls with behind the executioners, are condemned to death because deemed “British spies” of the New Syrian Army.

The 14-minute video is the second in which operates Haque, after the initiation one of last January.
