After the 4th August Garo girls’ rape case in Dhaka tragically increasing and the 25th January Garo woman new rape attempt in Dhaka news, this is last updated chronicle of the plight that afflicts the Garo girls in Dhaka:
Police found a lifeless body of a girl covered with blood in the exclusive area of Gulshan-1, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The body was lying in the Road # 12, Gulshan-1 and it was found this morning at around 7 AM, tells the Chief Inspector of Gulshan Police Station.
The body wore jeans pant and a toffee color t-shirt. The belly and the right side of the chest had been hit by numerous random strokes of knife or sharp blade. The girl, apparently 28 years or so, has not yet been identified. By facial features, she was probably an indigenous girl, likely Garo.
The girl’s body was promptly transferred to Dhaka Medical College, where it was declared dead. The body is in the morgue waiting for autopsy.
