Trump: For better or worse, from today the World changes

For better or for worse, from today changes the world with Donald Trump at the White House. From Russia to Europe, from China to the Middle East and Latin America, nothing will be as before.

The first U-turn over the Obama administration will be overturn the climate “Cold War-like” with Russia.

The “Tsar” Vladimir Putin and the “tycoon” Trump are in tune, it’s no secret. Washington may find a strong agreement with Moscow on the basis of the common struggle against terrorism. The new president has always said he wanted to send the Islamic State to Hell with bombs. The Russians, the last days even along with the Turks, are already doing it in Syria since beginning. Americans may join forces to wipe out definitively the Caliphate, rather than support it and fund it.

The theorist of the great alliance to shed off terrorism is the National Security Advisor, retired General Michael Flynn. The Kremlin wants in return the cancellation of the sanctions for the annexation of Crimea. Trump cares hardly anything of Ukraine and slightly more of the psychoses of the EU countries, which fear the “Russian bear”.

The new president is more interested in reforming NATO, branded as “obsolete” at least from the point of view of the commitment in terms of manpower, equipment and money, out too far on the shoulders of the United States compared to the European allies. The task of archiving the climate “Cold War-like” with Moscow will be up to the Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, who always was in good relations with Putin.

The European Union will be snubbed by Trump, who looks favorably on Brexit and was welcomed with a standing ovation by the “populists” of the old continent.

The ground of bolder clash will be Asia, with the continuous provocations and insults to China. The threats of new duties on Chinese products, and post-election phone call with the president of Taiwan, which has angered the Communists, are just samples.

The two ballistic missiles that can carry nuclear warheads, get up on the ramps by the Stalinist regime of North Korea to “greet” the settlement of Trump, are a real headache for the White House, determined to flex the muscles with its fleet in Pacific. Most likely, North Korea looks set to be the “Vietnam” of Trump presidency.

If the world won’t be the same again, the Middle East is likely to be hit by an earthquake with the “Trump cyclone”. Former General Mattis and the new head of the CIA, Mike Pompeo, have a grudge with Iran. The idea of Trump to dismantle the nuclear deal, will have to cope with the role of the Revolutionary Guards and Shiite militias, fighting also for our peace against the Caliph in Iraq and Syria. And if the president will move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, as leaked, the Palestinians will trigger a new intifada.

Latin America, starting with Mexico, is already alarmed by the hard line of Trump, but more than others will be the Castro regime to worry about. The openings of President Obama on Cuba are considered a quasi-treason. The billionaire landed in the White House has made it clear he wants in return from the rebellious island to abandon once communism and become a new economic and psychological colony of the United States.

Trump is one-sided and protectionist rather than isolationist, in the name of the slogan that made him win the election: “Make America great again.” For that he considers the United Nations “a club for people who meet together, chat and have fun,” but now the world changes.
