Today in Pyongyang there are the celebrations for the “Festival of the Sun”, the almost sacred event in North Korea that celebrates the 105 years since the birth of Kim Il-sung, grandfather of the present leader Kim Jong-un. But this year the celebration is overshadowed by the threat of an attack by the United States, after escalating threats and reactions in recent days between Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un.
Good reason to go there, according to Senator Antonio Razzi, present – with a formal invitation – at the closest HQ of the North Korean leader. Ready to make as a human shield on Kim, if it’s useful: “For the good of the world, I am ready to sacrifice myself.”
