Emilia Romagna: no to the Vegan festival

After the previous article: No prosciutto panic, please: Italian producers slap W.H.O.’s delirium , the Vegan cult continues to plot against the manufacturers of cold cuts and traditional cheeses of Emilia Romagna. But once again, Emilia defends itself…

Denied the patronage for “Parma Etica” by the Region of Emilia Romagna. For the second consecutive year the Council has denied the patronage to the organizers of the Festival to be held from June 2 to 5.

Last year the patronage had been denied for the position intakes denouncing vaccines, but this time the triggering reason has been promoting the Vegan diet. Emilian economy, in fact, is based also on the sale and export of pork cold cuts and fine cheeses. A Vegan Festival is like hammering own feet.

The Region has explained that the decision of a Vegan diet can “follow the sphere of individual choices, but is not coherent with the nutritional and economic policies of the Region”. The Institution explains that the dietary model proposed by the Region is the “Mediterranean diet” with traditional Emilian influence; ie. based on pork cold cuts and fine cheeses. The pillars of the economy of thousands of Emilians, in fact.

The Region cannot promote a Festival destructive for its own people.
