Iraq, three ISIS militiamen killed by a bunch of wild boars

Three Islamic militiamen were killed by a bunch of wild boars not far from Kirkuk, in central-northern Iraq. For them there will be no Paradise nor 72 Virgins.

The animals would have surprised them disarmed as they tried to defect, and they eventually charged and wounded them to death.

According to the Kurdish intelligence vice-commander in the region, Azad Jelal, the three Black Flag fighters were near a checkpoint of the Peshmerga whom they likely intended to surrender, when they were surprised by the bunch and were unable to survive the charge.

“Some refugees have noticed the bodies near a farm and have reported us,” Jelal explains. “A few days after, ISIS started a wild hunt for all the swines in the area.” The Kurdish fighters failed to recover the bodies due to the fire-fighting that went on in the area, but it is likely that other ISIS militiamen were engaged in a kind of grotesque “revenge operation” against animals that the Islamic cult considered impure.

In Kirkuk, ISIS maintains control of some limited areas, where it survives without too much trouble as most of the regular Iraqi army forces are still engaged in the offensive against Mosul in the North.
