The autopsy, performed on 6 July at the “Gemelli Hospital”, determined that the terrorists, armed with machetes, gunshot and explosive weapons, have raged on the hostages, mutilating several parts of the bodies and without giving them the final blow. Then they died slowly. On some bodies, forensic doctors also found bullet marks and traces of explosives.
In the meanwhile the investigations are continuing. Detectives continue with the interrogation of the family members of the commando. From the information gathered so far it could be confirm that terrorists are all offspring of wealthy local families enrolled in the international jihad ranks.
Among other things, the police admitted that the assault squads, during Saturday’s dawn raid to free the hostages, might have killed by mistake a Bengali that worked in the resturant: in fact they mistook Saiful Islam Chowkidar, a 40 year old pizza maker of “Holey Artisan Bakery”, for one of the terrorists.
ISIS would also released a new video in which praises the bloody attack in Bangladesh and threatens new attacks against “crusaders” and “crusade nations.”
